LAMARA COMPANY was formed in 1950 in Savannah and participated in the post World War II housing boom. Since then, the Company has specialized in land development for regional and national clients, as well as, local partnerships.

Lamara Company associates and agents are trained to work with buyers and sellers. Our tenure in the residential market, stems from generations of strong relationships in the community. Our philosophy is to address a few properties at the time, giving them attention. We respect your financial commitment, whether you are selling your property, or investing in real estate.

Due to an expanding commercial and industrial market, the Company has focused on shopping center development and industrial land development, as well as, representation of regional and national clients.

The Company’s residential division represents buyers and sellers, as well as builders, as it has since the 1950’s.

The owner is John J. Rauers, who has a CCIM designation and has been in real estate since 1985.
